Welcome to Somerton High School Athletics!
It is an honor to serve as the Athletic Director at Somerton High School. Having called Yuma County home for most of my life, I have a deep appreciation for the pride our communities take in their schools and the important role Somerton High School plays in the lives of our students and families. 

At Somerton High School, athletics are an extension of the classroom. Alongside our dedicated coaches, we are committed to helping every student-athlete develop character, leadership, teamwork, resilience, and the confidence to succeed beyond high school. Every day, we challenge our athletes to WIN with Excellence, focusing on what matters most in the classroom, in competition, and in the community 

We proudly offer a full range of Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) athletic programs, along with chess and spiritline, providing students with a variety of opportunities to compete and represent Somerton High School with pride.

Our success is built on the support of our students, families, coaches, staff, and community. Together, we will continue to build programs that reflect the pride of Somerton High School and provide a positive experience that prepares our student-athletes for success in college, career, and life.
